Camp T’Kai Adventures is filled with different opportunities for new experiences. Each week will include arts, crafts, outdoor play,swimming and field trips! Make new friends, interact with nature, create a macaroni masterpiece and see a few of Colorado’s wonders by signing up for Camp T’Kai Adventures today!
Each child will receive a cinch bag and sunglasses.
Registration begins April 6 and ends August 7 (space is limited, registration ends the Friday before each week of camp). Children must be signed up by a parent/guardian. No online registration. Registration can be completed at the Pueblo Parks and Recreation Office.

Week 1- June 8-12
Join us as we discover some of the great treasures of Colorado that are right in Pueblo’s own backyard. We will tour the fish hatchery, walk along the trails learning about the local flora and fauna Lake Pueblo State Park has to offer.

To In finity and Beyond! Up, up and away! Grab your boarding pass. Aviation and space travel
will be the focal point, while we step into the cockpit for an out-of-this-
world experience at Wings Over the Rockies.

Week 3 – June 22-26
Withstanding wildfires and the test of Mother Nature for over 85 years, is a massive splendor, hanging high above the wild Arkansas River. Join us this week as we craft our own majestic bridges and visit the historic Royal Gorge Bridge. Field Trip: Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, Cañon City, CO
Week 4 – July 6-10
Lions and tigers, oh my! If you are an animal lover like we are, then join us this safari week as we learn interesting facts, and get up close and personal with the critters of the Pueblo Zoo. It is guaranteed to be zootastic!

Creepy and Crawly
Who says you have to travel to the bayou to see a gator? Campers will be traveling to Colorado Gator Reptile Park where they have an opportunity to see an albino alligator or an African Sulcata tortoise!

Week 6 – July 20-24
Get in the Game
You can almost smell the fresh cut grass and the hotdogs grilling, all while singing Take Me Out To The Ball Game. We will be attending a Sky Sox baseball game, as well as sampling a variety of other sports the rest of the week.

This fun-filled week will be jammed-packed with crafts, games and other activities to help feed your mind’s imagination. We’re visiting the Buell Children’s Museum for adventure, creativity, stories and old-fashioned fun!

Wild West Explorers
Step back in time, imagining that it is 1840 and you are traveling across the prairie in a covered wagon on the Santa Fe Trail. See what it took to be a traveler, trader, fur trapper, Native American and soldier in the 1840’s as we travel to Bent’s Old Fort.

Week 9 – August 10-14
Are you ready for a rugged cave journey? If you said YES, join us this week as we explore the Cave of the Winds. Learn about the crazy rock formations and the different types of creatures that call these subterranean caves home.

Weekly registration ends the Friday before each week of camp starts. Children must be signed up by a parent or legal guardian.
Days and times: Weekly camps Mondays – Fridays 7:00am-6:00pm
Location: City Park’s George L. Williams Pavilion, 800 Goodnight Ave.
Age: 5-11 (must have completed kindergarten)
Sibling discount: $15 per week – first child will be regular price. Discount will apply towards second child.
Scholarships: Applications and scholarship qualification information is available at the Parks and Recreation Administration Office located at 800 Goodnight Ave. All scholarships are due by May 29.
