Snickers Brownie Surprise

Snickers Brownie Surprise

Snickers Brownie Surprise

Recently I found myself at my mother-in-laws house on my husbands birthday, with no cake for my husband! (And limited ingredients in the cupboard, due to a recent vacation!) So I scavenged and decided to use what I could come up with!

My husband is a Choco-holic, and his favorite candy bar is Snickers – so this worked out absolutely perfect!

Snickers Brownie Surprise Ingredients

•1 box of brownies (and ingredients to make it as per box)
•2 (8 oz) containers light Cool Whip
•1 (3.9 oz) box instant chocolate pudding mix
•1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
•1/2 cup water
•caramel syrup
•chocolate syrup
•3 Snickers Bars

1. Prepare Brownies as per box mix. Allow to cool completely.
2. While brownies are cooling, mix pudding, sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup water with mixer, then fold in Whipped Topping.
3. Layer on top of the brownies – smoothing and covering the entire pan.
4. Drizzle Caramel Syrup over the pudding layer.
5. Refridgerate until Pudding has set. (About 30 minutes)
6. Spread second container of Whipped topping over top of the pudding mixture.
7. Sprinkle chopped Snickers Bars and peanuts on top of the whipped topping, and drizzle chocolate and caramel sauces. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This whole dessert was thrown together rather quickly, but had amazing results!! Everyone was asking for the recipe and our family devoured the entire pan for our birthday treat!

Easy Cake Mix Cookie Recipe (simple & delicious)

Halloween Pumpkin Cookie
Cake mix cookie recipes are simple to make and are delicious.  I’m always looking for fun and easy projects to make with my little 5 year old princess Bella.  This one was perfect, together we were able to make about 2 dozen cookies together in a short amount of time.    I would recommend using about half as much frosting as I did in the photo.  The cookie shown was a little too sweet.

With the holidays just around the corner.  You could make these any color to fit the need of the party or mood.  Cake box cookie recipes are simple, affordable, and delicious!  I usually use Duncan Hines, but you can use any mix you choose.  And if you’re not big on frosting of course you can leave out the extra calories 😀

1 Box Cake Mix
2 Tablespoons of Oil
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Stick Butter
8-10 Drops of Food Color (optional)

2 Eggs

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Mix all ingredients together in your bowl and blend until the batter is creamy.
  • Drop spoonful of dough onto the cookie sheet, about 2 inches away from each other.
  • Bake 8-12 minutes, depending on your oven.  I always bake mine at 350 for 9 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack (about 30-45 minutes).
  • Put spoonful of frosting between two cookies and enjoy or you can eat them without the frosting!
