Colorado Owl Festival 2015
Join the NRCP, Pueblo public libraries, Pueblo Zoo, Arkansas Valley Audubon Society, Lake Pueblo State Park, and Mountain Park Environmental Center for the weekend. Highlights include live demonstrations, crafts, an owl hooting competition, owl pellet dissection, and presentations by owl experts.
Dates: Friday, March 27th & Saturday, March 28th
Cost: $3 per person for the entire festival.* (Kids under 10 years old are FREE)
*Events at the Pueblo Library re FREE. Workshops may have additional fees.
1:30 – 2:30 pm Live Owl Presentation at InfoZone theater – Rawlings Library
3:00 – 4:00 pm Kids’ Owl Activities at Pueblo Zoo
6:30 – 8:30 pm Open House at the Raptor Center – Meet our resident raptors and enjoy an evening of captivating storytelling by Diana Miller, Raptor Center Director.
8:30 – 9:30 pm Night Hike at the Nature Center – Enjoy an evening stroll along the river trail, listening for sounds of owls and other wildlife.
