The Pueblo Chieftain Veterans Day Parade, “Pueblo’s Salute to the Spirit of Our Veterans” will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 10:00am and is hosted by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce. The Veterans Day Parade gives the community an opportunity to honor and say thank you to all of Pueblo’s military veterans. Please join us as we pay tribute to Pueblo’s Veterans!
The parade route runs along Union Avenue between East B Street and West 1st Street and begins at 10am!
This parade is one of several events going on this week to honor our cities veterans!
Also happening? November 2 (Sunday) at 3pm is the Pueblo Choral Society’s “Patriot’s Dream” concert! This concert will be held at Hoag Hall on the CSU-Pueblo campus. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens and military members and $10 for students. They are available by calling 369-2456 and will be sold at the door.
The Pueblo Choral Society presents a musical celebration of freedom to honor the heroes who have preserved those freedoms and to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the composition of The Star Spangled Banner. Perennial favorites such as “God Bless America” and a salute to the Armed Forces will be performed. Pueblo East High School’s special choir, Les Jongleurs will be a guest performing choir.
