There’s so much fun stuff going on at the Buell Children’s Museum – this Friday is the Art-O-Matic!

From the Children’s Museum Website:

FRI, JAN 24, 2-3 pm
Pueblo Community Art Club & Art-o-matic

In partnership with Pueblo Community College

Kids out of school early? Stop by and work hand in hand with the PCC art students to create pieces to go into the Art-o-Matic machine on location in the Buell Children’s Museum.  Make artful things for a cause, as your creation will go into a box and to be purchased by someone in the recycled cigarette machine!  No smoking! Yes art! Ann Oreskovich, instructor, and class will show you how.

About Art-o-Matic:
Step up to the Art-o-Matic Machine, put your money in and see what kind of artwork you will receive.  Will you get a landscape painting, a portrait, an abstract- or will you get a picture of those ruby slippers?  The folks behind this project are the art students at Pueblo Community College.  They will be on-site on the following dates to work side-by-side with Buell Museum guests to create art. Art pieces will go into the machine. All proceeds benefit the PCC art program. Be part of this public art project in action on:
Fridays:  Jan 24th, Feb 21st, Mar 14th, and Apr 18th   2:00-3:00pm.  Art purchase from the Art-o-matic available daily during Museum hours.
