How to start a WordPress blog on Dreamhost

Today, I will teach you how easily you can create a blog on your own.  Blogging has allowed me to make thousands of dollars, all by doing something that I love.  Plus, you can start a money-making blog or just a blog to share your favorite recipes, or tips with others online for just a few dollars a month!  Click here to start a blog on WordPress, then use the tutorial below for the easy instructions.

If, you’re looking to start a blog for cheap, then choosing Dreamhost for your hosting needs may be your answer.  I personally have used other hosting companies, however I always come back to Dreamhost.  They have been rated Best Web Hosting Service 2 years in a row too!

Blogging has brought me so much joy and rewards.  I have built up and sold (yes you can sell blogs), two other sites that both were making money.  Not only can you make money from blogging,  you can also share what’s on your heart or inspire others by your life lessons.  Blogging is a win win in my mind and I hope I can inspire you to share your talents or interest with others through blogging!

Blogging allows me to have flexible schedule, meet amazing people (2 of my best friends have came from blogging).  It has allowed me to help others find resources, provide turkey dinners on Thanksgiving, share amazing deals, and help other organizations all at the same time!

Anyone can make money with blog.  It just takes a vision and commitment.   There are free blogging platforms, however I wouldn’t recommend them.  Or should I say stay away from there.  Most advertising and companies tend to run away from free platform hosting sites (e.g. Blogger) because they don’t view them as a professional as self-hosted WordPress blogs and they have control of your blog.  I have had a friend that runs a VERY large deal blog that was completely shut down with no warning…. everything she had worked for up until that point disappeared and there was no way of retrieving it.

There are many reasons for why you may want to choose Dreamhost for your WordPress blog and I can honestly say there are one of the best, if not the best, hosting companies on the market today.

  • It’s easy to use!
  • They offer technical support.
  • It’s affordable
  • You get a FREE blog domain name (such as www.yourblogname.com).
  • WordPress platform is free through DreamHost
  • If, you want to monetize your blog, you are able to easily.
  • You will appear more professional to your readers, advertisers, and companies.
  • I have worked out a special deal with them just for you!  Where you can save $50 off your first year (when you sign up for the annual price).
  • If, you would like to be billed month to month the cost will be $10.95 to start your blog today or if you want to save some money you can pay for the first year all at once and receive $50 off and pay $69.40 today.  Either way is a great deal to start a business or to inspire others.
