Walk or Run for a Cause

On Your Marks…

Walk a 2k (1.24 mile) course or run a 5k (3.1 mile) course to raise money to benefit those with developmental disabilities. Anyone who can complete the distance is welcome to participate in this circuit around the Colorado State Fairgrounds.

The Bluesky Blizzard Run will take place Saturday, March 21st, at the Colorado State Fair Grounds.

Check in and registration begins at 8:30AM. Event starts at 10:00AM.

Come see award-winning juggler, dancer and physical comedian Peter Davison in a remarkable one-man show!

See things differently as ordinary objects come alive in extraordinary ways. Funny, amazing and sometimes poignant, “Tossed & Found” is contemporary vaudeville at its finest!

Peter Davison has combined inspiration from Charlie Chaplin, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and other movement artists who worked with common objects that audiences could relate to. The result is physical theater that is both classic and relevant today.

Peter Davison, a former National Juggling Champion and recipient of the Ballet Builders Award for New Choreography, has toured internationally and appeared on the CBS, BBC and Fox TV networks. Now, his diverse abilities come together in a one-of-a-kind show that appeals to all ages.

 HINT: Come by the Arts Center after the performance to learn the art of juggling!

The monthly meeting of “Business During Lunch” will be Thursday, March 12th.

  • Boost your chances for professional success by networking with colleagues and other Greater Pueblo Chamber Members.

Pueblo Zoo Spring Break Program

Savannah Spring Camp is intended for students in 1st grade and 2nd grade.

The Savannah Spring Camp runs Monday- Friday, March 23-27, from 9:00am-3:00pm. Check-in and pick up is at the Zoo Classroom in the Administration Building- you must sign your child in and out of camp

First and second graders can learn about our future zoo residents, the African painted dogs and their habitat – the African savannah. Program includes snacks, keepsake photo, zoo walks, animal encounters, keeper talks, daily crafts and activities, t-shirt. (But not lunch! Bring a packed lunch.)

Wear sturdy shoes (no flip flops) and dress for the weather. If you child requires medicine or has special needs, please be sure to indicate this on the registration form.

Coloring Contest Now Open for Kids + Adults

During the month of March,
the Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo will be holding
an owl coloring contest for children and adults.




Kid Prizes (for each age category)

First Place: an Owl Presentation for the student’s classroom.
Runners-Up: a Raptor Adoption for his/her classroom.
All First Place winners and Runners-Up receive Free Admission to the Colorado Owl Festival.

Adult Prizes

First Place: a Raptor Release
Runner-Up: an NRCP individual membership
