On Saturday, September 13 from 10am – 2pm EVRAZ is allowing bus tours of the Steel Mill, Tunnel Tours of the Historical CF&I Tunnel and the Steelworks Museum. Tours are $5 per person. Did you now that in the early 1900’s, Pueblo was the “Jewel of Colorado“?? Much thanks to the Steel Mill – which has been around since 1881!! Recently (as in the recession of the 1980’s) the Steel Mill has suffered some hard times, but it is still the largest recycler in Colorado!

Goodnight Barn Fundrasier is also Saturday the 13th from 3-6pm! Admission with dinner $35 (all ages). Admission only $20, 12 and under $10. Authentic chuck wagon dinner, live auction with western art, jewelry, pottery and autographed Larry McMurtry and Veryl Goodnight books, western music, live entertainment by trained longhorns and Wild West Mini Rodeo, gunfighters and more! The Buell Children’s Museum (at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center) reopens on Saturday at 11am with their new exhibit – H20 Picasso! This exhibit will run through November 8 and features new water exhibits, water coloring and more!
