Stroll to the holiday music through this dazzling spectacle of animated animal creations while sipping on hot chocolate and trying to find the newest additions. New this year- New Year’s Family Night! Tickets can be purchased in advance (at a discount price), during regular daytime business hours at the Zoo starting in November. Front gate closes at 8:00pm. Non-Member Adult $6, Non-Member Child $4, Member Adult $4, Member Child $3, and children under 3 years old are free.

Nutcracker at Sangre de Cristo Arts Center: One of ballet’s most beloved performances, The Nutcracker is a timeless tale of the magic of Christmas, as seen through the eyes of a child. The Sangre de Cristo School of Dance presents the annual production of this holiday classic for the pleasure of the entire family at the Arts Center Theater. December 5 @ 7:30, December 6 @ 2pm and 7:30pm,December 7 @ 2pm

Winter Wonderland at Buell Children’s MuseumThrills and chills abound with this exploration of ice, snow, and all things frozen!
If the cold never bothers you, this is your exhibit! Traditional Nutcracker Capers, Enchanted Frosty Forest, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, gift making and of course the tallest teddy bear tree in town return to round out the experience.

 

 Friday December 5

First Friday Arts Walk: The First Friday Art Walk, features extended hours, (5:00pm–8:00pm, some until 9:00pm) of art galleries with newly hung shows, refreshments, and music. Additionally First Friday Art Walks will present performing artists on Union Avenue at an outdoor venue. Lazer Light Skating at Pueblo Ice ArenaIce Skate through a wispy fog with over 1,100 laser and LED lights  while listening to your favorite songs through our state of the art sound system. Friday from 7:30-9:30! Cost is $5 and includes skates.

Saturday December 6

Arkansas River Chorus Christmas Concert: Free Holiday Concert! , December 6th at 7:00pm for an evening of Christmas music! The Arkansas River Chorus is hosting an evening of Christmas music at First United Methodist Church (Corner of 11th and Court). Special Guests to include: Just a Quartet (from the Sweet Adelines Chorus), Charles and Juanita De Hart, First United Methodist Church Choir, Jane Profitt, Kyle Schulz, Hayride to Heaven, Sophia Cisney, and Unexpected Pleasure. Emcee: Craig Eliot. 

Glimmers of Christmas: Free Holiday Concert. Start the holiday season off with a bright and festive concert filled with the familiar sounds of Christmas. This performance will feature selections from Handel’s Messiah along with a mix of light-hearted popular Christmas melodies and a visit from Santa for kids of all ages! Majestic Baptist Church in Pueblo West -3pm.
