This Weekend in Pueblo

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and that you’re 2015 is off to an amazing start!! As we go into this first weekend of 2015, I thought it’d be fun to compile a list of things going on around town this weekend! (Remember, both D60 and D70 head back to school on Monday January 5!)

FRIDAY, January 2

First Friday Arts Walk –   features extended hours, (5:00pm–8:00pm, some until 9:00pm) of art galleries with newly hung shows, refreshments, and music. Additionally First Friday Art Walks will present performing artists on Union Avenue at an outdoor venue. One of my favorite little-known features of this awesome activity is Cup and Bowl! If you’ve never stopped by this awesome Pottery Studio? Why not head out this month for the Arts Walk and stop by!

Jake’s Cakes GRAND OPENING – This new bakery (524 N. Main) is hosting their Grand Opening on January 2!! (The main reason I’m posing this is that their Facebook Page says they are offering 15% on the 2nd!) If anyone checks this out, please leave us a comment and let us know how delicious they are!! (Since both of us here at All Things Pueblo are eating Paleo right now, we can’t venture that way!)
